Indecision is bugging me

I am *this close* to having that sewing room completely empty so I can hire a painter. It is going to be Sammi's new room after all (I toyed with the idea of keeping her in the other room, but eh, easier to put another baby in that room).

But I cannot choose a color.
Paint the room aqua and accent with pink furniture? Or paint the room pinkish and accent with aqua furniture?

This piece is staying. And it's already pink.

But I just bought that aqua night stand in Iowa...

I was looking through my pins and it seems like I have pinned (before this decision) a lot of blue rooms.

But then I saw this to DIE FOR nursery .

What to do, what to do. Must choose soon.

Garage sale on Friday. (Come and get it all!)

Then onto painting.

(Indecision me molesta. ;)

Would you consider doing something besides the blue/pink, like a pale pale yellow? Or a gray or something so that you could use both pink and blue furniture and it wouldn't get lost against the walls? Hmmm. But that nursery you linked is Wowza gorgeous!

I'd go with another color too. Similar tone but maybe a green or a lilac color. I like Heidi's idea of a gray too. Everything looks great next to gray!

That is an amazing nursery. I vote aqua. Did the pink and I am over it...it wears on me. like a jar of Pepto bismal but in the end it is your vote and can I say your taste is impeccable.....smiles...Renee

I'll help you out as soon as I figure out what color to paint my living room. It's been about a year since I thought I'd repaint it ... seriously, the only thing stopping me is picking out the color.

My guest room is painted Mint Gelato--a nearly mountain dew pastel green. All the furniture is pastel pink or chippy, crusty white. I LOVE it!!! It's very bright, all the furniture pops against the wall color, and because everything else is pink or neutral it fools your eye into thinking that the room is painted such a bright color! I'm sure anything you pick will be fabulous!

Are you selling any fabric at that yard sale that you want to sell to me instead? 8 )
I think you got great suggestions; if it were me I'd maybe do a super-pale pink--just a blush side of white really--and then use both kinds of furniture it.

I would have said either the lightest shades of either, but after seeing that nursery picture I realized that it was just too much. I always go blue, because I think it's calming. So maybe you should think of it that way. Blue for calming and pink to wake your up. Are you going to go completely monochromatic with everything else? All pink furniture or all blue?

Wow, love that pink stenciled wall & I am not usually a fan of pink! So I would probably go with the aqua, but that is just me :) Either way it is going to be just darling I am sure!
